WATER USE EFFICIENCY (WUE) AND CONSERVATION MEASURES

As your local water purveyor, TCWD is committed to the protection and responsible management of one of our most precious resources - water. One of the ways we believe demonstrates this commitment is our Water Conservation Ordinance, which was adopted by the Board of Directors in 2008. Included in the Ordinance are Permanent Provisions which have been in effect since its adoption, and are common sense conservation measures for the customers in our service area. WUE REBATE PROGRAMS

As a member agency of the Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC), TCWD participates in many WUE Rebate Programs. These Programs provide rebates for WUE devices which are designed to reduce your water use. Please see the links below

• Watersmart Incentive Programs

The Watersmart Incentive Programs are the WUE Rebates for specific devices which can be purchased at local hardware stores and vendors.

• Turf Removal Rebate Program

The Turf Removal Rebate Program is managed by MWDOC and is set at $3.00 per square foot of turf removed; the total area of turf allowed is contingent upon account type, i.e. residential, commercial, irrigation, etc. Please review the Program Application and Terms and Conditions prior to submission.
